While the EPA grant that supported our operations has been terminated, our team continues to work toward securing new partnerships and funding to continue offering meaningful support and guidance to the communities we serve. With short-term support for a few staff, CCEEJ will continue to field emails and support the Climate Action Hub. Additionally, some CCEEJ partners continue to operate technical assistance programs supported by non-Federal or other funds and we’ll continue to connect your organization to those resources.

CCEEJ is committed to helping community organizations by providing technical assistance that includes: conducting community health and well-being needs assessment and analyses; facilitating navigation of government websites; identifying grant opportunities; increasing grant getting and administration capacity; supporting participation in decision-making; and training community champions.
No. As a technical assistance center, CCEEJ does not provide funding for individual community projects. Instead, CCEEJ provides assistance to community organizations to successfully apply for and secure funding to support their community health and well-being priorities and projects. We will work with your organization to identify funding opportunities and increase successful grant submission, grant getting, and administrative capacity. CCEEJ can also provide assistance including post-award grant management components such as guidance on reporting, quality assurance, and understanding grant policies and procedures.
CCEEJ is committed to providing technical assistance and training to California-based non-profit organizations, community-based and grassroots organizations, philanthropic and civic organizations, underserved communities and organizations, rural and remote communities and organizations, faith-based organizations and churches, educational institutions, disadvantaged businesses, local and state governments, Tribal nations and other Tribal organizations and communities. No. Direct grant writing services cannot be provided by CCEEJ. However, we are committed to providing training for grant writers in your organization, developing partnerships and collaborative networks to facilitate grant writing and grant submissions, and connecting your organization with accessible or pro-bono grant writing services.
CCEEJ is not offering translation services at this time, but we are pursuing new funding to restart this service as soon as possible. Please contact us for more information.
