Tribal & Indigenous Communities
Services for Tribal and Indigenous communities
CCEEJ provides assistance with Tribal-specific grants, natural and cultural resource management, and training events. These efforts are led by our partners at the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals, Climate Science Alliance, Desert Research Institute, and the University of Guam Center for Island Sustainability.
Identifying Tribal-specific grant opportunities
CCEEJ works with Tribal and Indigenous communities to identify current and upcoming funding opportunities, including those specific to Tribal and Indigenous communities.
Trainings and workshops for Tribal and Indigenous communities
Our workshops and trainings for Tribal and Indigenous communities cover a range of topics that, together, provide a forum for shared learning. Topics include air quality monitoring, data management, water quality standards, Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs), and more.
Professional and leadership development
Building capacity and leadership is an important service we provide to empower communities with energy and environmental justice. These services include fellowships, leadership training, economic and workforce development, and more.
Air quality monitoring
CCEEJ can help Tribal and Indigenous communities develop and implement air monitoring programs.
Natural and cultural resource management
Tribal and Indigenous communities have unique natural and cultural resource management needs. Our team can help with, for example, cultural preservation and natural resource conservation and remediation projects
Networking opportunities
Through our workshops, trainings, and other events, CCEEJ aims to foster supportive collaborations and networking opportunities for those we serve.
